Lamium Orchid Frost (PP11122)

Elegant silver foliage with dark bottle green base color tones are a lovely backdrop for the delicate, orchid-pink flowers which are produced profusely in mid-spring and sporadically throughout the summer.

The distinctive, two-toned effect of the leaves simply glows in the shade. This cultivar also appears to be much more resistant to foliar diseases than other varieties and is also deer resistant. Lamium is evergreen in mild regions and herbaceous in cooler zones. In both areas, it will benefit from a shearing in the spring to stimulate healthy, new growth. Lamium makes an excellent, weed-smothering groundcover, ideal for dry shade. The striking foliage adds contrast in mixed containers. It has a tidy habit that is ideal for 4″ pots, combination planters, and mass landscape plantings.

Hardy to Zones: 4-9
