Mentha piperita ‘Chocolate’

Mentha piperita, also called peppermint, is a series of herbaceous perennials that is often used as a garnish in food and drink recipes. It is a deeper mint, a mix between spearmint and water mint and is incredibly pungent. The foliage is a dark green with toothed edges that sprout erect spikes of reddish, lilac blooms. Hardy and vigorous, Mentha is both useful and attractive as a groundcover.
