Lamium maculatum ‘Aureum’ (‘Gold Nuggets’)

Lamium maculatum is a fast growing, sprawling perennial cultivar that makes a gorgeous groundcover. Teardrop shaped foliage may have serrated edges and tend to have variegations in lime green, white, or yellow. Lamium don’t thrive in high heat or humidity but are drought tolerant, so they don’t mind a little bit of neglect. The magenta or white small, hooded flowers provide a pop of color in the spring.
